Opening Turbo Tax gets report that it "encountered a problem and had to shut down".
When I try to open my Turbo Tax program, I get a report that says it encountered a problem and had to close. I've been having a slight problem with my computer shutting down without any warning. This may have contributed to the problem.1 person needs an answerI do too

Uninstall/reinstall Turbo Tax. Your computer shutting down without warning isn't a "slight problem". It indicates probable hardware failure and you need to get that fixed because things will only get worse. Turbo Tax was corrupted and soon more programs and even Windows will be also. The computer could be overheating and/or components could be failing. You can do the troubleshooting yourself or take the computer to a competent local professional. Don't use a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_TshootMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
